AdaptTable for shadcn

Right-to-left shadcn data table

An Arabic table mirrors the entire layout — search, sort arrows, pinned columns and the pager. Not just translated strings: a genuinely flipped axis.

The filters popover anchors and flips from the correct edge; that is the part only a real RTL page can show.

locale="ar" sets the strings and the direction. The table and the popover are shadcn.

locale="ar" flips the semantic table; the popover clamps itself to the viewport in script and hangs from the inline-end edge, same as the English page, only mirrored.

The code

import { DataTable } from "@adapttable/shadcn";

export function People({ rows, columns }) {
  return (
    <DataTable
      data={rows}
      columns={columns}
      rowKey={(row) => row.id}
      locale="ar"
      filtersMode="popover"
    />
  );
}
